ARTIST STATEMENT
Background
I have enjoyed making art ever since I was a little kid. In 2015, a friend introduced me to Zentangle-style art at a craft day. I began to explore this black-and-white art form as a way to relax and to express myself.
Style
My work is influenced by designs and patterns from my environment. I enjoy combining these patterns in unique ways to create calm from chaos.
Process
I like putting pen to paper and seeing what happens. This is slightly out of character for me, because I usually overthink things. Or do I?
